ABOUT

A hidden gem in the centre of York.

The Coach House York is around 200 years old and is perfectly situated for exploring the city centre.  It has all the quirky charm of a historic former coach house with a fresh, modern feel after a comprehensive refurbishment in 2022.

The small detached cottage is located off Gillygate and is only a short walk to city centre attractions including York Minster, the bar walls, the River Ouse and York's best bars and restaurants.

Downstairs the house benefits from a shower room with toilet, basin, towel rail, storage and a walk-in shower.  The brand new, fully fitted kitchen contains everything that you need for a self-catering break in York, including oven with grill, induction hob, kettle, toaster, microwave and all necessary utensils.  As well as a breakfast bar with seating you will also find a drinks trolley with array of glasses for your stay.

Upstairs is the main living and sleeping area with a pitched roof ceiling with original timber beams, a large velux and a feature window.  A stylish, modern space with bed dressed with luxury linen, new sofa, slim line 42" TV with Virgin fibre broadband, wardrobe and full length mirror.

You will also find a hairdryer and an iron and ironing board can be requested ahead of your stay, along with a travel cot and highchair.
